Our mission
Imagine fleeing your home to escape violence, only to face closed borders and an uncertain future. This is the harsh reality for thousands of Afghan refugees living in limbo in Uzbekistan.
But hope is on the horizon.
Through our new pilot program, women can reclaim their dignity and independence. Vocational training in hairdressing, sewing, and confectionery provides not just practical skills but the confidence to dream again. Language classes open doors to connection and opportunity. Psychosocial support helps heal the invisible scars of trauma.
And as they take their first steps toward empowerment, we’ll provide tools—sewing machines, hairdressing kits—not as handouts, but as keys to self-reliance. Imagine a mother, once filled with despair, now building a business, feeding her children, and seeing her daughter thrive in school.
This is more than a program; it’s a lifeline. A chance to lift 250 individuals through training, teach 184 the power of communication, and provide over 1,400 with the support they need to heal and thrive.
